That's why I created Meadowlark.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved the call of the meadowlark. Growing up, my favorite place in the world was my Grandma Lorelii's farm in South Dakota. It was there I first heard that distinct, joy-filled, burbling melody from a small bird perched on a fence post. It sounded like the happiest creature alive, singing into the sunlit prairie, and it has been my favorite bird ever since.

Since moving to Nebraska, I have had the joy of hearing that song again. Whenever I hear a meadowlark call, I always feel like I am heading in the right direction. In folklore, the call of the lark is a sign of spring and renewal. I couldn't think of a better herald for a new season in healthcare.

Cost-savings:

We happily do NOT accept insurance.

The average individual insurance deductible for a single adult in Nebraska in 2025 is $2,676*- One year of meadowlark membership is $1080. The average family has a nearly $5,000 deductible- our family max is $3,600 per year. We are NOT insurance, but with a predictable monthly fee and access to cash pay discounts for labs and imaging, we might well save you money in the long run.

time to heal

Slow medicine is the best medicine

In the direct care model, we actually have time to talk about what keeps you well—lifestyle, diet, and exercise. The most powerful prescriptions start at the dinner table or on the walking path. With unhurried visits and the time to truly follow up with frequent check ins, we can move beyond just treating illness. Let's build your health together.

Never rushed:

Direct, unhurried access to your doctor

In insurance based medicine, physicians are often forced to squeeze complex issues into 15-minute slots. Here, our visits are 30 to 60 minutes long, and tailored to you. We might meet in our beautiful space, with a quick video chat or in person at your home.  When you have a question or a concern, you don't have to navigate a call center, wait days for a portal message reply, or explain your history to a different provider every time—you can just text or call me directly. If you're thinking, "I rarely go to the doctor, so I don't need this," consider how much easier it is to stay healthy when reaching out to your doctor is as simple as texting a friend.

Steadfast connection

Be known.

Seeing the same doctor over the years quickly becomes one of your greatest health assets. When you feel unwell, the last thing you want to do is start from scratch, explaining your medical history to a stranger at an urgent care clinic. Because I know your medical background, your family, and the unique context of your life, I'm not just treating an isolated symptom. Over time we get to build a foundation for life long care, and I get to know your unique story.
